We had lots of people saying last year that they’d really like to see WONK UNIT on Teesside . That’s easier said than done as they’re always on tour , just finished a sell out with Slaves as we speak then off to Europe . But we’ve got them at The Westgarth on Friday July 8th. and it’s your chance to see them up close & personal in the downstairs room AKA Westgarth 2 .

Joining Wonk Unit on the bill are York’s & TNS recording artistes The Franceens, one of the best live bands on the circuit these days . If you’ve been lucky enough to catch them before you’ll know exactly what we’re talking about . If you haven’t , make sure you don’t miss them .

Weld are no strangers to the local Teesside scene , with their own take on the sounds from the heyday of American Hardcore & with the new drummer on board things are really taking off for them .  Alien8 are a melodic power trio with a nice line in Hawaiian shirts from Middlesbrough.
